Kaitlin and Bill's Wedding

The evening before the wedding was spent setting up the venue/town hall. Jordy was very excited to show me his suit for the wedding.

He was also Grandpa's helper for setting up the chairs and tables.

I was shown his suit several times :-)
Next up was helping Bill with putting the wedding arch together.

Kaitlin's Aunt and sister arrived with....

 the table decorations.

Sister time
Arch is beginning to take shape.

A group effort

Adding the 'trimmimgs'

final touches

There's always time for visiting between set-up activities.

Break's over!! More decorating needs to be done :-)

Lovely table decorations

Table decorations set up for the final touches tomorrow.
Champagne glasses being put together for the 'toasts'.

Food platter being prepared
Time to stop for the night!! More decorating will be done in the morning!

Time to relax and have some pizza. While we were decorating and eating pizza, Alice was at the house cooking for the reception.....no picture, though :-(

Kaiti's still working on some wedding favors

When we arrived the next day, the last finishing touches were being made by the bride, groom, and families.

This was just the appetizers and salads....more entrees not pictured!!!

Pre-wedding visiting

Nathaniel getting Gabriel's tie ready

Flower girl and ring bearer ready to practice.

Love flowing through the room giving us all hugs during the ceremony :-)

Tami and Nathaniel discussing possible photo shots with Kaitlin and Bill.

Nathaniel's taking the formal photo shots and Tami is directing/organizing.
With this twosome working together, many shots were taken.

Getting the little ones ready for their shot....

Or keeping them out of a shot by entertaining them ? :-)

We enjoyed watching the photos being taken....
and using this opportunity to take our own.

Jordy thought Grandpa would look good with the bouquet.

Tender moment between pics

A wonderful time was had by all during the reception.

All too soon, it was time to clean up.

Oh, Oh!!! Looks like Tami may have been caught by the arch!!

Kitchen cleanup

Tables and chairs back where they belong.

Decorations ready to be packed up .
The next week, I enjoyed seeing the couple start their new life together at Door County, Wisconsin.
